Dunfermline Carnegie ladies 1s faced Stirling University 2s away on the 11th October 2025. The game started end to end with both teams playing well. Carnegie took the lead late in the first quarter with an open play goal, scored by Heidi Cameron.
Carnegie continued their lead in the second quarter with a straight strike goal from a short corner by Mercedes Black. Carnegie absorbed some pressure from Stirling Uni late in second quarte,r but with some good saves from goalkeeper Ruth Poole and defender Becca on the post, kept Carnegie with a clean sheet going into half time.
In the final quarter, Carnegie were able to capitalise on circle penetrations, winning short corners with the final one ending with a goal coming from Mercedes playing the ball back to the injector, Ciara Wilkie. Stirling piled on some pressure in the last few minutes of the game, but some excellent line stops and defending by Kirsty Robertson saw Carnegie finish the game with a well desrved win and another clean sheet.
Final score 3-0 win to Carnegie.

Ladies 2s
On a bright sunny day Dunfermline Carnegie ladies 2nd XI took on Kelso 2s at home with a 1:30pm passback. Following some early pressure the first goal of the game was awarded to Laura Donaldson of Carnegie from a penalty corner. First quarter ended 1-0 to Carnegie.
After the break Kelso regrouped and put Carnegie under some sustained pressure by winning penalty corners and scored from open play after Carnegie failed to clear their lines. Half time score 1-1.
The third quarter was hard fought with both sides struggling to gain control of the game. Third quarter ended 1-1.
The final quarter had some better play from Carnegie with some good play up the right. Carnegie were able to score their second goal from open play after taking on the keeper, taking the score to 2-1. Carnegie kept the pressure on and were rewarded with another penalty corner which was slipped left to Chloe Faulkner who took the score to 3-1. Another penalty corner was awarded just as the full time whistle went, this time the strike from the top of the D went just wide of the right post.
Final score was 3-1 to Carnegie.
