Ladies 2s
On Saturday 24th January Dunfermline Ladies 2s hosted Boroughmuir in a league tie.
Dunfermline started pressure early on and persistence paid off with a goal from Chloe giving them the lead. Boroughmuir responded well and Dunfermline were under pressure but defended well with the score line remaining 1-0 to Dunfermline at half time.
The second half was tightly contested with both sides attacking well. Boroughmuir persevered with their attack which secured them a goal making it 1-1. Dunfermline did not let this get to them and worked well resulting in a few shots on goal which were saved by the Boroughmuir Keeper.
A quick last attack saw Boroughmuir take the victory by netting another goal making the final score 2-1 despite Dunfermlines determined late push.

Ladies 3s
On Saturday 24th January, Dunfermline Carnegie 3’s welcomed Stirling Wanderers on a very cold and breezy afternoon.
The game started very strongly from both sides, lots of passes were made and a good team spirit from both sides. With the first quarter ending 0-0, with both teams having many opportunities but were unlucky not to benefit from them.
Into the start of the second quarter, Dunfermline were able to work their way up the field towards the oppositions goal but again, shots were very unlucky until Aimee McKenzie was able to make her way past the Stirling defenders and get Dunfermline Carnegie 3’s their long awaited goal.
Onto the second half and both teams spirits were still very high despite everyone getting very tired after a long first half. Both teams were able to get into the oppositions D’s but again, both seemed unlucky to not claim more goals.
The third quarter ended with the score board still at 1-0 to Carnegie Dunfermline.
Into the final quarter and Stirling Wanderers were determined to get a goal now, many of their players were able to make it very close to the goal but were unsuccessful thanks to Carnegie’s defenders. Both teamst still kept their heads up and spirits high as the end was near. Dunfermline had many good runs and good opportunities, but were still unsuccessful to claim another goal. The final whistle blew and the score board was still 1-0 to Dunfermline Carnegie 3’s.
