Ladies 3s
DUnfermline L3s took on top of the table Heriot Trinity’s 2s, the game started off at a fast pace and it never dropped from there, Heriots had more of the chances at goal in the first and second quarters but with solid defending we had it all covered.
Into the third quarter Carnegie had their first opportunity in Heriots D and managed to get a short corner, Fi with a great strike into the bottom left hand corner of the goal saw the quarter finishing 1-0 to Carnegie.
The 4th quarter started out strongly, with a great run forward by Amy to score Carnegie second goal. After losing a bit of shape Heriots then scored to make it 2-1 The third goal came not long after by another great run by both Amy and Lily, with Lily pulling ahead of defender to get the last touch to put Carnegie up to 3-1
The game was always going to be a tough one against the team at the top of the table but the whole team put a shift in that day and grabbed those 3 points.
