On Saturday 5th October, Carnegie L2’s travelled to Meggetland to play Boroughmuir.
The game began with high pressure from Boroughmuir who worked hard to secure their first goal.
In the second quarter Carnegie started off with high pressure, Chloe Faulkner and Laura Donaldson passed the ball quickly covering ground towards the opposition’s goal. Laura Donaldson was forced right by the defence but manage to equalise. However Boroughmuir quickly fought back again to take the lead.
As the first half was almost over Boroughmuir managed to find the back of the net bringing the score to 3-1.
The second half saw good defensive work from both sides. Both teams had breaks for goal but neither team succeeded to add to the goal difference.
After a hard fought game the score ended at 3-1.
